This chapter describes 12 gentle purgative preparations of Chaturangula (Cassia fistula, Golden Shower tree). As the mildest purgative in the entire Kalpa Sthana, it is specifically prescribed for vulnerable populations—children aged 4-12, elderly, injured, debilitated, and delicate patients. The fruit pulp contains sennosides A & B and anthraquinone glycosides. All 12 formulations are characterized as sukumara (gentle) and sukhopaya (pleasant in outcome), making this chapter the clinical safety counterpoint to the potent Shyamatrivrita chapter.
