This chapter establishes that proper food quantity is individually determined by digestive capacity (agni bala) and defines it as the amount digested in due time without disturbance. It prescribes eight daily health practices targeting supraclavicular health: collyrium, therapeutic smoke, nasal oil therapy, dental hygiene, oil gargling, body massage, bathing, and proper grooming/attire. The chapter forms part of the Health Preservation Tetrad (Swastha Chatushka).
