Overview
Lead is one of the herbs traditionally used in Ayurveda for high cholesterol. Naga (Lead) is the fifth metal. It is heavy, soft, and bluish-grey. Lead Bhasma is used in diabetes, obesity, urinary disorders, and worm infestations. It must be very carefully purified and processed as raw lead is highly toxic. The text warns about improper use causing severe diseases. Verses: 24-25.
