Overview
Dankari is one of the herbs traditionally used in Ayurveda for inflammation. Dankari encompasses references to both Clerodendrum phlomidis and Physalis minima. The text mentions that some scholars refer to 'Pankari' as the primary name. Physalis alkekengi (Physalis minima) is the more commonly identified species. It is a small herbaceous plant with bladder-like calyces covering the fruit. The fruits and leaves are used in digestive disorders and inflammatory conditions. Dose: 2-4 masha.
