Overview
Soma Vriksha is one of the herbs traditionally used in Ayurveda for inflammation. Bauhinia tomentosa, the Yellow Bauhinia, is described as a yellow-flowered variety. It is more common in southern India and used similarly to other Bauhinia species for glandular swellings.
